If you have little ones, RiverSplash Kid's Day presented by Milwaukee Magazine and milwaukeemoms.com is the place to be! From 11am - 5pm on Sunday, June 7th, Pere Marquette Park will be filled music, dance, workshops, and lots of fun for the whole family. On-stage performers include Fox and Branch Family Folk Music, Trinity Academy of Irish Dance, Elation Dance Center, First Stage Theater Academy, and Accompany of Kids. In the park we'll have a giant inflated carousel bounce and a huge fire truck slide. There will also be art workshops, face painting, and crafts for kids. At RiverSplash Kid's Day, the little ones will enjoy free canoe rides from our friends at Bell Ambulance and Hosteling International U.S.A., Wisconsin. Countdown to RiverSplash! 2009

The official start of summer, RiverSplash! 2009, is just 10 days away! The music cranks up at 11:30am on Friday and keeps going until Sunday afternoon.

When you get downtown, you'll find that a few really great changes have been made. Festivalgoers will enter the Water Street party through five different gated entry points, and there are two entrances to Pere Marquette Park. You can't miss the entrances - you'll see the lights from blocks away! If you wish to buy and drink beer, you'll need to purchase a $1 wristband. You'll probably notice there's more security at this year's event, which is never a bad thing. As in years past, there will still be plenty of great lunch and dinner options - families, too, will find that RiverSplash restaurants make it so easy to bring the kids! We are so excited to be a part of RiverSplash! this year and we have some fun activities planned for the whole family!

Join us on Sunday, June 7 for Kids Day!

At 1:20 pm our improvisation team Organized Chaos will perform at the pavilion in Pere Marquette Park - you'll laugh until your side hurts, we promise!

Then at 3:30 pm come and participate in a First Stage Theater Academy workshop and have fun with your imagination!

We also heard in the park there will be free canoe rides and art workshops too - which means something fun for everyone in your family at RiverSplash!

RiverSplash! will celebrate it's 20th anniversary on June 5, 6 and 7 in downtown Milwaukee along the river!
